This is a tool that helps convert PDF documents into DWG format drawing files.
PDF to DWG Converter is a batch converter. It allows you to convert your PDF files to usable and editable AutoCAD DWG or DXF files. All the entities in the PDF file are recovered and transferred to the CAD drawing files, DWG entities easily. These kind of conversions become necessary whenever you have a partner who may not have a full fledged CAD software like the AutoCAD or something compatible. These partners do not need to modify the drawings and are able to manage with PDF documents. Sometimes you are likely to get images of drawings marked up. The changes need to be updated through a CAD system. Sometimes it may not make sense to tie up a full AutoCAD license for just this kind of PDF to drawing conversions. This tool then should be all you need. This program does not need AutoCAD or compatible programs nor Adobe Acrobat to be present on your machine.
The PDFs can be converted to either DWG or DXF, two drawing standards introduced by the makers of the AutoCAD. Over the years, they have made several versions of the formats and this tool supports all of them to the latest 2011 release. The interface is very intuitive and even beginners should get a running start. You need to create a batch list first that can include sub folders too, if you choose to. The tool can help you extract embedded raster images from the PDF files.
